HGV Class 1 Drivers – Rugby

We are recruiting HGV Class 1 Drivers for a leading logistics company based in Rugby. If you have 2 Years HGV Class 1 experience, we can offer Tramping Work with guaranteed shifts, competitive pay rates and flexible start times to suit you.

Both European and UK Work Available

Role Overview:

As an HGV Class 1 Driver, you will be responsible for UK or European Work, delivering to RDC’s.

Hours & Shift Patterns

• Tramping Work
• Monday to Friday / Tuesday to Saturday Shifts Available
• Start times between 0400 – 0700

Pay:

• Monday – Friday: £16.00 – £19.00
• Saturday £18.25 – £22.50
• Rates are PAYE or Umbrella

Job Role:

• Driving a HGV Class 1 Vehicle with Curtainsided Trailers
• Carrying out a mixture of Stores Deliveries and Deliveries to RDCs across the UK or Europe
• Completing daily vehicle checks and managing your driving hours
• You will complete Tamping work in the UK prior to any European runs

Skills & Experience:

• HGV Class 1 Driving Licence, CPC & Digi Card
• At least 2 years of HGV Class 1 driving experience
• No more than 6 points for minor endorsements
• Experience with curtainsided trailers and the ability to check and secure loads
• Passport to allow European Travel (if you want complete runs in Europe)
