HGV Class 1 Drivers – Northwich

We are recruiting HGV Class 1 Drivers for work at leading logistics company, based in Northwich. As part of the logistics team, you will be responsible for trunking work in a HGV Class 1 vehicle.

If you have 2 years HGV Class 1 experience, we can offer flexible shift patterns to suit you.

Hours

• Shifts Available between Wednesday – Monday – Flexible to suit you
• Start Times between 0400 – 0800 on Days
• Start Times between 1600 – 2000 on Nights
• Tramping work available
• Shifts are 10 – 13 hours per day

Pay

• Monday – Friday £15.25 – £19.50p/h
• Saturday & Sunday £17 – £22p/h
• Rates are PAYE or Umbrella

Duties

• Driving a HGV Class 1 vehicle with Curtainsided Trailers
• Making deliveries to RDC’s, which could be trailer swaps or waiting to be unloaded on a bay.
• No loading or unloading required for this role
• Completing daily vehicle checks and managing your Driving Hours

Skills & Experience

• HGV Class 1 Driving Licence, CPC & Digi Card
• 2 Year HGV Class 1 experience
• No more than 6 points for minor endorsements
• Experience with Curtainsided Trailers and the ability to check and secure loads
