HGV Class 1 Drivers – Skelmersdale

We are recruiting HGV Class 1 Drivers for work at leading logistics company, based in Skelmersdale. As part of the logistics team, you will be responsible for trailer swaps to RDC’s in the Northwest and Midlands

If you have 12 months HGV Class 1 experience, we can offer a fixed shift pattern Monday – Friday with the same runs daily

Hours

• Monday to Friday 11am
• Shifts are 10 – 12 hours per day depending on Traffic

Pay

• Monday – Friday £16.81 – £18p/h
• Rates are PAYE and include holiday pay or Umbrella

Duties

• Driving a HGV Class 1 vehicle with Curtainsided Trailers
• Making deliveries to RDC’s, which could be trailer swaps or waiting to be unloaded on a bay.
• Deliveries in the Northwest and Midlands
• No loading or unloading required for this role
• Completing daily vehicle checks and managing your Driving Hours

Skills & Experience

• HGV Class 1 Driving Licence, CPC & Digi Card
• 1 Year HGV Class 1 experience
• No more than 6 points for minor endorsements
• Experience with Curtainsided Trailers and the ability to check and secure loads
