VAN DRIVER JOBS
Most 3.5T van driving jobs involve multi-drop deliveries, requiring drivers to be efficient and well-organised. Whether you’re behind the wheel of a Sprinter or Luton van, the role typically includes making anywhere from 15 to 100 drops per shift, depending on the job. Deliveries can be to both business premises and residential addresses, covering a wide range of goods such as parcels, furniture, white goods, and pallets.
These roles primarily operate during the day, with start times usually ranging from 04:00 to 08:00. The job demands good time management, attention to detail, and excellent customer service skills to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.

At Elite, we recruit for the following roles:
- HGV Class 1 + Class 2 Drivers
- Van Drivers

We pay all of our workers a week in arrears every Friday.
Payslips are emailed to you every week – usually on a Thursday.
To change your details, you can contact the office on 0151 420 1219, or email widnes@elite-employ.com.
You can also update your personal details using the Elite app.
If you want to change your bank details, the change must be done in writing. Please contact the office on 0151 420 1219 who will be able to help you. We must receive any change of bank details on a Monday, to be paid into your new account the following Friday.
To register with Elite, you must include the following:
- Right-to-work documents, such as British Passport, or Birth Certificate and proof of your National Insurance number. If you are not a British citizen, then you will need either a Settlement Status Share Code, or a valid Biometric Residence card.
- If you are applying for HGV Driving Work, you will also need a full driving license with the category of vehicle relating to the job role, CPC and a Digi Card
- If you are applying for FLT work, you will need an FLT license for the role you are applying for
For all of our HGV Driving and FLT roles, you will need a minimum of 6 months experience, sometimes more depending on the role.
